Dr. Hertler earned her medical degree at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, Wisconsin. She completed her residency at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. She is board certified in Otolaryngology.

As a mother of two young boys, Dr. Hertler understands the need for an easy -going, comfortable approach to children and their parents. When out of the office, she is usually chasing the boys about, or (if they can sit still) reading to them.
