ANTHONY A. RIEDER, MD

Philosophy of Care

“I want every one of the patients I see to fully understand what their diagnosis means, and why I think their treatment plan is right for them. I enjoy spending time getting to know my patients as individuals and how I can best serve them. The same treatment is not always the right treatment, even if it is the same general problem or condition. You need to know your patients as people and not think of them as just another diagnosis or a reason for a test or some surgical procedure.”

Dr. Rieder is the founder of and managing partner for Alliance ENT, established in 2006. He practices general otolaryngology with focused interests in sleep medicine, sinus disease, pediatrics, and dental-ENT collaboration. Prior to his medical education and training, Dr. Rieder was a practicing mechanical engineer involved in the nuclear power industry. He has significant experience related to process improvement, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance. Dr. Rieder is a father of four; when he is not in the office, he enjoys riding his motorcycle and flying airplanes. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, and attending Packer games with friends and family.

        MATTHEW T. GREULICH, MD

        Philosophy of Care

“Being a physician teaches us that the patient frequently tells you the diagnosis if you know how to listen. My goal, and the most interesting part of each patient interaction, is to use the patient’s story along with a thorough exam to make an appropriate diagnosis. I will use the latest in our understanding of the disease to educate and present all the options for treatment based on that diagnosis and help make a mutual decision on how to proceed. These interactions provide the basis for an excellent relationship and mutual respect between the physician and the patient.”

            MALLORIE BERGSTROM, MPAS, PA-C

            Philosophy of Care

“I like taking time with my patients to thoroughly discuss their concerns and symptoms, to explain not only the diagnosis, but also the anatomy and physiology behind the diagnosis, so they understand their individual situation and can be an active participant in their medical care. In this manner, I provide them with the tools and options available for their care, and together we can work towards improving their symptoms.”

Mallorie Bergstrom has been with Alliance ENT & Hearing since 2018. She has previous experience in the field of emergency and urgent care medicine.

                  LORI HUBACEK, PA-C

                  Philosophy of Care

“Each patient has a unique story, and my goal is to always hear that story and provide care that best fits their needs. I want my patients to be active participants in their medical care, and I strive to teach each one the ‘what and the why’ behind medical decisions so that we can make those decisions together.”

Lori joined Alliance ENT and Hearing Center in April 2015 and takes pride in providing prompt and compassionate medical care for patients of all ages. She has a special interest in sleep medicine. Lori has worked in the healthcare since 1995 and has worked as a Physician Assistant since 2001. Prior to joining Alliance ENT, Lori worked as a Physician Assistant in General Orthopedics at the Aurora Lakeshore Medical Clinics.

Lori is a mother of three, and in her time away from the office, she enjoys running, cycling, and doing anything that will get her family outdoors together. She especially enjoys traveling with her family to experience new sights and cultures.

                                  Philosophy of Care

“When I was a small boy, I survived a life-threatening infection of bacterial meningitis, which resulted in a complete loss of hearing in my right ear and high-frequency hearing loss in my left ear. This experience led me to pursue a career in audiology so I could help others with hearing impairments.”

For many years, Nathan worked as an audiologist with Steven Millen, MD, and Linda Barbian, AuD, at Milwaukee Otologic (later Aurora Otology/Neurotology), Aurora Head & Neck Surgeons, and Ascension All-Saints Hospital in Racine, WI. Nathan currently works with major hearing aid companies, allowing him to help patients choose the best-suited products for them.

Nathan has a lust for life: he enjoys drawing, painting, reading, writing, working out, woodworking, metalworking, fixing things, gardening, traveling, and hunting. Most of all, he cherishes spending time with loved ones—especially his wife, Margarita—and his five “crazy” children.
